This mod on a mod is well worth the download. Basically its vice city modified with deluxe to make almost everything higher rez. real cars. real names on stores. and better effects (tire smoke etc) and a modified version of vcmp so it works with vice city deluxe. also there is an rpg element to the multiplayer whereby you can buy/sell drugs/cars/buildings, steal jobs and more Installation Instructions: rename yer vice city folder to temp run the uninstall to make yer pc think the game is gone install the game again rename you're new installation to vice city deluxe rename the origional installation back to what it was download and install Vice City Deluxe to your vice city deluxe folder either follow the set up instructions that comes with deluxe or download the NOCD.exe which is already set up and replace the gta-vc.exe with it once single player works download and install the vc-mp-deluxe mod join the mEr clan deluxe server. 72.36.213.44:5008 if you have any problems, please post in the forum

Vice City Deluxe is a Total Conversion mod for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. It replaces (almost) every vehicle with awesome high res ones, it makes Vice City feel like a much more modern, real place. it modifies HEAPS of things to make it better in every way possible. As well as vehicles replaced, theres also heaps of cool map mods to make vice city more fun too. such as a skatepark, motocross track, rally park.... etc. Also, to add to the realism, theres heaps of building changed, including kaufman cabs is now "yellow cab co" (and the cars have been modded accordingly) theres a few small shops including seven eleven, mcdonalds, pizza huts, amcal... and many more. May i suggest that if you want more info on this mod, Install it now, and go play it!!! :)

1.Run the installer and point it to your Vice City deluxe directory. hit Install.
2.Once its finished installing, open up you vice city directory,
3.run VClimitadjuster.exe and press open gta-vc.exe,
4.now choose the gta-vc.exe file in your vice city directory,
5.adjust it to these settings:
streaming memory: 128
buildings: 10,000
dummies: 5,000
BEFORE HITTING SAVE, RIGHT-CLICK ON gta-vc.exe and go to "properties."
UNCHECK read-only, hit apply, and then hit ok. Then, go back to the limit adjuster and hit save.

The lovely people at the [UVA] clan have hosted the NOCD.exe aready set up for deluxe so instead of doing steps 3-5 ya can just click here to downlod the exe already set up

DIRECTIONS FOR INSTALLING THE MOD
The first thing you want to do is make a new copy of Vice City. If you have any previous versions of LC installed, then this step is most likely done. But if this is your first time installing this, you should copy the entire Vice City directory and rename it to Liberty City. If you do not do this step then you will not be able to play Vice City without having to reinstall it. Also, you may have to have a full install of Vice City (all radio stations on the hard drive) for this mod to work.

Once that's done, run the GTA:LC installer. If you have the GTA3 Play CD get that ready as some audio files will be copied to your LC folder. If you do not have the GTA3 CD, a minimal set of audio files are included in the download package. If you install audio, the process takes about 10-15 minutes to finish.

After the mod is installed, run the gta-lc.exe file to begin the game.


KNOWN ISSUES
This mod currently will not work if your gta-vc.exe file is from the German or Australian versions.
There are bugs in a few missions yet (Sayonara Salvatore is most obvious and Bullion Run is completely skipped right now)
Not all of the peds are converted and some of the converted peds are in progress versions.
